(see new dates below)

The following is some information for those of you who wish to sign up for future classes.

  1. Each month with the exception of May will have one or two 5 days session being offered.

  2. Each day will consist of about 5 hours of education and one hour of individual riding time and lunch. WCR will provide lunch..    Except during Extended Summer Session.

  3. Each student will get to ride and work on their particular goals under Eitan’s personal direction. When not being schooled they can watch and learn from his work with the other classmates during that session. There will be plenty of time for discussion and clarification.

  4. If you wish to come during the early winter months keep in mind that it can be wet and cold, even in CA. We do not get snow as a rule, just rain. We have a covered round pen with seating area so we can work in bad weather. The arena is open so there may be times it is not useable do to weather conditions.  During the Extended Summer Session it will be very hot in that afternoons so school will run from 7 am to Noon each day. There will be no lunch served during these summer sessions.

  5. We do have stalls for your horses. We ask that you bring well-mannered horses that are used to stalling. We will feed, water and clean the stall for you as well. We recommend that you keep your horse on the feed he is used to while he is here. We will give you a place to store it as well as your tack.

  6. We do not take dangerous horses with serious problems.

  7. If you do not have a horse and wish to participate please check with us as we may have something for you to use.

  8. You will be asked to sign a release of liability as well.

  9. If you are a minor a helmet is a must.

  10. We ask that each rider have appropriate riding boots, no  tennis shoes. Bring warm clothes, gloves in the wintertime. There is a washer and dryer here if needed. Tack should be in good order and we do recommend helmets. It is an option for adults but a must for minors. Parents or guardians must sign a release of liability for all minors.

  11. We recommend three of the hotels near by, about 20 minutes from the ranch in Grass Valley. They are the Holiday Inn Express 530-477-1700, Holbrook 530-273-1353 and the Best Western 530-273-1393.

  12. We are located between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe off of Hwy 80. If flying you will arrive at the Sacramento Airport. It is about an hour and a half to our ranch from there. We will send you directions if needed. Rental cars are available at the airport.
